There will be a 36 hole qualifier for the Brittany Ferries 2012 Tournament held on Sunday 13th May. Contact reception to enter. See the Mens tab for more details.

30 April
Draw has now been done for Mays round of the Mens Summer Knockouts. See KO section under Mens for details.

14/15 April
Members of the Junior Section attended the GM International Junior Open Tour at Wildwood in Surrey. Whilst none qualified for the next round they all played well in some extremely cold and windy conditions. Their behaviour and knowledge of rules was impressive by comparison to some of the other participants and this along with their general etiquette is a credit to Ferndown Forest Golf Course and the adult members who continue to provide support to the section. Special recognition to Jake Read (aged 8) who missed 2nd runner up by just one stroke in his age group for his first competition.

Mens Knockouts have now been drawn, first round to be played in April.

10 March
Opening Day is Sunday April 1st and open to all club members from all sections. Format is a shotgun start scramble of pairs blind drawn into teams of four. Find a partner and sign on in reception. Your partners to make up your four will be chosen by draw. Entry fee is £5 per pair.

SOME PEOPLE HAVE SIGNED ON FOR THE SUMMER KO's WITHOUT PAYING THE ENTRY OR LEAVING A CONTACT PHONE NUMBER. PLEASE DO SO BY THE DEADLINE IN RECEPTION OR YOU WILL NOT BE INCLUDED. YOU HAVE UNTIL MARCH 18th.

Sheets are up in reception now for entries for the Singles and Doubles Mens Summer Knockouts for 2012. Entries are open until 18 March with the first round to take place during April only active handicaps are allowed.
